Edible, Medicinal, & Survival-Uses of Wild Plants Class

Join the amazing adventure of an Earthen Rangers Wild Plant class for adults! Earthen Rangers Plant Classes for Adults are two hours long & $25 per person. (Classes must be purchased at least 24 hours prior to the class-date.)


In this class we'll cover:

  • Dozens of Species with Edible, Medicinal, & Survival-Uses!

  • Identification Properties of Species

  • Plant Families

  • How to Sustainably & Legally Harvest Wild Plants

  • Toxic Look-A-Likes!

  • How to aid native habitats through wild plant harvesting!

Scheduled classes are $25 per person.

Intro To Wildlife Tracking Class

We'll be exploring wildlife tracks throughout grassland & riparian habitats. Join us as we learn how to identify the tracks of different species, learn sign-tracking, direction of travel, & the intent of the animals who left their mark in the wild. Intro Wildlife Tracking Classes are two hours & $25 per person.

Primitive Cordage Weaving Class

Primitive cordage weaving is the act of take apart small plant or animal fibers & weaving them into strong rope or string. Cordage is used in a vast variety of ways, from archery, friction fire-making, shelter-building, trapping, fishing, clothing, & so much more!

-Hands-on experience processing plants fibers, weaving them into cordage, & splicing to make long lengths of cord.

-Take home your own hand-woven cord!

Primitive Cordage Weaving is a two hour class, $30 per person.

Bow-Drill Friction Fire Making Class

Join this special Earthen Rangers Class as we make bow-drill kits & practice the ancient art of friction fire making! Each student will make & take home their own bow-drill kits.

Intro to Birding Class

In this Earthen Rangers class we'll be taking a leisure stroll through a local riparian forest observing & experiencing a diverse amount of bird species, from song bird to raptors!
